Grand Opening of the Anoma Experience Center
At the beginning of 2018, Anoma made its debut on the global stage, launching two nature-inspired sculptures at the Scope International Contemporary Art Show in Miami Beach, Florida.
The past two years have brought us immense opportunity to collaborate with multiple artists and designers, enabling us to expand the reach of our products across the United States. Showcasing our work to diverse audiences at trade events such as the Architectural Digest Design Show, NYC, Coverings, and WestEdge, brought us international recognition and appreciation.
NYC, the largest specification market for architects and designers was calling! I met my current business partner here, Shane, who shared my vision and passion for bringing Anoma to California. We decided to open an exclusive experience center for Anoma here and a design center in the very near future. Our first project in the United States was a custom installation at The Row Hotel at Assembly Row, Somerville, MA and Anoma’s Product Knowledge Initiative, which was launched at Kohn Pederson Fox Associates in August 2018. Meanwhile, work on Anoma’s upcoming flagship Experience Center in LA continued.
The decision to move to the United States and meeting Shane in LA turned out to be an absolute blessing.
As more time passed, we were able to get recognition and love for our work from many people. We decided to open the doors of the Anoma Experience Center on November 7th, 2019 in Gardena, Los Angeles. The opening saw a gathering of friends, family, architects, and designers who were united by a common love for what Anoma does – exploring the potential of carved stone through surfaces, sculptures, and installations and came to support us in our journey. A range of parametrically designed sculptures, custom-made fireplaces, garden furniture, planters, and vanities were set up for display at the experience center highlighting the dynamic potential of natural stone.
